Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) has strong adhesion and strong film-forming toughness. It can be used as a color carrier for coated paper or as a glue for surface gluing of copperplate paper, wear-resistant paper, sun drying base paper, kraft paper, etc., replacing starch and casein or in combination with it. It can improve the wear resistance, folding resistance, tear resistance, glossiness, smoothness, and printing adaptability of the paper. PVA aqueous solution can be used instead of water glass, starch, or in combination for printing and binding, bonding of cardboard boxes, cardboard, paper tubes, etc.
