The polyvinyl alcohol adhesive used for plywood has high bonding strength to wood, fast curing speed, and simple manufacturing process. It has a wide range of sources, low cost, and no "trialdehyde", making it an environmentally friendly adhesive.
Raw materials and formulas:
10kg polyvinyl alcohol ,mica powder 10kg
Ethylene glycol 0.35kg ,silica sol 20kg
Polyacrylamide 0.05kg ,water 59.6kg
Preparation method:
Preprocessing
① Mix 0.35kg of ethylene glycol with 0.7kg of water for later use,
② Mix 0.05kg of polyacrylamide with 1kg of water until fully dissolved, set aside.
③ Mix 10kg of mica powder (400 mesh fine powder) with 7% water and set aside.
Hot melt
In a stainless steel jacket container equipped with temperature control, speed control, and stirring, add 50.9kg of water and raise it to 70 ℃. Under 60r/min stirring, add 10kg of PVA (22-95 type) (slowly added). After adding, raise the temperature to 90-95 ℃ and wait for it to fully dissolve. The solution was dropped to 65 ℃ and 2 ℃, and the silica sol was slowly added while stirring at 100-130 r/rain 20kg (with a silicon dioxide content of 30%); Maintain at around 50-C for 15-20mirn to fully polymerize. Then add the spare material from step ① above dropwise. Reduce to room temperature, stir at 100r/min and add the spare materials from steps ⑧ and ② separately. Finally, measure their pH values to be between 8.9 and 9.9. Filter and discharge the materials, and fill them in plastic drums.
